Studland Bay
This beautiful National Trust beach has it all, a long stretch of soft white sand, calm waters for swimming and plenty of facilities. The car park is free for National Trust Members and dogs are allowed between the 1st October and 30th April off the lead and for the rest of the year on a short lead. It is possible to go kayaking, canoeing and there are pedalos to hire. We love to arrive early in the morning before the crowds, play in the sand then have a coffee and croissant at the café before heading home.

Hengistbury Head
The large spit of land opposite Mudeford Quay has views of Christchurch Harbour on one side and of the Isle of Wight on the other side. The beautiful beach huts take prize position on a large sandy beach. As this beach is only accessible by foot, bike or ferry it is rarely crowded. The restaurant recently burnt down and has been replaced by a fantastic selection of pop up eateries and coffee shops. There are plenty of facilities and if you park at Hengistbury Head there is a lovely flat bike ride
or walk to the beach.

Swanage Beach
This classic seaside town never gets old. Why not take the steam train past Corfe Castle to Swanage? To do so makes for a great day out with young and old alike. The promenade is long and the views are beautiful. The sandy beach with it's shallow water makes for a glorious swimming spot and the fish and chips are delicious. There are plenty of little local artisan shops and delicious places for a coffee and cake stop.
