'Hi Anna  - just to thank you so much for our fantastic weekend in your cottages.  We had a great time – the accommodation contained all of us + the dogs; the food on our first night was delicious; our second night which was the celebration for John’s 70^th went so well with a table that could fit 20 of us and then the sitting room area where we could hold our ‘performances’ and quiz for him – many lovely memories.

I love that part of Dorset – I was brought up in Salisbury with grandparents in Bournemouth and aunt, uncle, cousins in Southampton, so it all felt very familiar. We would love to come back one day – everyone thought it was great.  I’ll put something on TripAdviser.

Good to meet you albeit briefly.  Hope we left everything in good order.

An absolutely fantastic holiday property. The perfect size and layout for 18 people.

Highly recommend having an evening meal made for you by Anna. Plenty enough to go around and to a high standard. Made life so much easier!!

Lovely cottages, we had a brilliant holiday. You could easily have 20 adults and have plenty of space inside and out. The local pub, The Anvil was a 40 minute stroll, you could go cross country or road, decent food and the staff very proactive with Covid precautions. Cottages all clean on arrival, with Covid paperwork. Felt clean, safe and welcoming. This property is rural and on a working farm which was lovely and well kept. Lots to do locally, cider farm, brewery in Blandford, National Trust properties and lots more - really good location. I would recommend this property and hope to return. 

' This was perfect for a Christmas family get together. Everything you could wish for and far more had been thought of, from the Christmas tree to the little extras. So many lovely touches, which made our stay extremely comfortable. Each cottage was individual. Each was warm and comfortable. We had a great time and would love to come again.'

'We had a fabulous stay at Newfield Farm. The arrangement of the cottages was perfect for our large family gathering and we particularly appreciated the dining area and kitchen in Rose which made catering for large numbers so easy. We thoroughly enjoyed an extremely tasty Friday night supper courtesy of Anna and the homemade cakes were a welcome treat. The large undercover seating area outside meant we could gather outside well into the evening and enjoy the peace of the countryside.'

We just wanted to say how impressed we all were with the accommodation. We would all like to book again for next year! The eggs and cake were a lovely touch, we felt so cut off from everything in a good way. The children and dogs seemed very content with the space they had and the rest of us loved the fact you could have some private time or all sit together because of your great use of space.

What a beautiful answer for a family gathering. Our party had 19 people spanning across 4 generations and 4 dogs - all had a brilliant time. There was enough space for everyone to gather and eat together, but also plenty of room to break out into quieter and noisier groups when required too. The games room and the secure garden were also a big hit. Lovely Dorset countryside on the doorstop and not too far from the Jurassic coast for a spot of fossil hunting. Perfect place.

I booked this cottage for a group of 9 ladies of varying ages to have a relaxing weekend of chat and laughter away from our families and commitments - so needed somewhere of a certain quality, suitable bedrooms and number of bathrooms, as well as within our budget. It was perfect! Not only was it spotlessly clean and welcoming, there were fresh eggs, milk, a selection of tea and coffee, as well as a delicious homemade cake - a lovely surprise after our journey. The cottage was furnished and decorated to a high standard with a top quality, very well-equipped kitchen I wanted to take home! The beds were super comfy and there was effective heating if you needed it. The games room was a fantastic extra and was well used! We had horrendous wet weather so spent a lot of time in the cottage and could have done with another day. We made use of the board games and puzzles available to borrow - we did not use the TVs but there were 2 sitting areas and TVs to do so if you wished. I would genuinely like to go back in another season to be able to enjoy the surrounding area more and be able to just sit and chill outside with a.BBQ, a bottle of wine and good friends!

The owner was very friendly and helpful and there were fresh farm eggs and cake waiting for us on arrival. Very spacious and well equipped cottage. All helped to make a very enjoyable family holiday

Very peaceful location, very spacious accommodation, friendly welcome from the white lab, then visit from the spaniel. Horses in the paddock adjacent, lovely walks direct from the cottage, central location for Shaftesbury, Stonehenge, Jurassic coats and Isle of Wight. Good pub in the village. A great place to stay.
